Gather around with friends, family, and neighbors along the parade route, take a stroll along State Street, grab a hot cup of cocoa or a bite to eat at your favorite Downtown restaurant, and start your holiday shopping on Jay St.

Parade Kicks Off at 5:00pm

The fun begins at the corner of State Street and Washington Ave, near SUNY Schenectady. Grand Marshal's from the Downtown Ambassadors will lead over one hundred floats and thousands of marchers down State Street.

Parade Route & Parking

Parade begins at SUNY Schenectady at the corner of State Street and Washington Ave and continues up State Street to the corner of Lafayette and State Street. The parade mainstage is located at the Proctors Marquee, 432 State Street. 

Expect road closures and delays throughout Downtown Schenectady!

FREE PARKING

Free parking is available at the Schenectady Municipal Parking Garage on Broadway and various public surface lots within walking distance of the parade route. Some lots may be closed due to road closures. Plan ahead and avoid parking tickets using Park Schenectady.
