Hosted by the Schenectady County Conservation District, Glenville Police Benevolent Association, and the Alplaus Fire Department

 

Looking for a fun and exciting outdoor activity for your kids? Bait a hook, cast a line, and bring your family for a day of fishing and fun. The 2024 Indian Kill Kids Fishing Derby is perfect for children of all ages and experience levels. Whether their a first-time angler or a seasoned pro, all children 15 and under are invited to bait a hook, caste a line, and reel in a prize winning Rainbow Trout. 

Don't have a fishing pole and bait? That's ok! We have plenty of extra fishing poles and bait for you to use. 

Not only will your kids get to experience the thrill of catching a fish and exploring the Indian Kill Nature Nature Preserve, they'll have the chance to win some awesome prizes.
